Some places still available! Register and take advantage of this free course.

SMEs from all ESA Member States and Cooperating States are invited to participate in a training course on “How to write a good proposal in response to an ESA Invitation to Tender for R&D activities”.

The course will be held on 6 – 8 November 2018 at ESTEC, The Netherlands.

A detailed course description is available here.

Participation
Due to the highly interactive nature of the course and the hands-on training, the number of course participants is limited to 28.

For each participating SME, a maximum of 1 participant is allowed. Applicants should either have a technical/scientific background or a commercial/legal/team-management background and be selected among staff who are normally involved in the preparation of proposals. Nominees should also have a seniority level allowing them to subsequently provide guidance to other colleagues on preparing proposals for ESA tenders.

Target group
Participants from Small and Medium-Sized Companies with no or limited experience in writing ESA proposals.

Selection
ESA aims to constitute the four competing teams in a balanced and meaningful manner. Factors that will be taken into account in the selection process are nationality, balance in technical/commercial background as well as previous experience and role in proposal writing activities. This is to ensure that there will be a good mix of more experienced and inexperienced as well as technical and commercial team members from as many countries and companies as possible.

Additional info
Participants are required to bring their own laptop for the group exercise.

Costs
This course has no registration fee, however each participant is expected to cover his/her own expenses (travel, hotel, etc.).
